Jennifer discovered Reiki 3 years ago at Fire and Spirit and it was the best decision ever to begin Reiki training. She is now an Usui/Holy Fire® III and Karuna Reiki® Master. She is also a certified Qigong, Meditation and Yoga Teacher.
Jennifer loves to share these beautiful practices to empower individuals to access their healing power within, in a compassionate and enjoyable way.
Jennifer has many years of health care experience as a critical care RN and is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. It is her passion to bridge science and spirituality, and to promote peace and healing.
She also loves to spend time in nature and is the organizer of the meetup group Mindful Hudson Valley hiking and more.Â

Flow into Peace with Qigong and Reiki
This unique class blends Qigong meditative movement and the healing power of Reiki.
Qigong, pronounced "chi gong", is part of an ancient Chinese healing system that uses the mind and body to optimize energy. Qigong can reduce stress, improve balance and flexibility, and enhance the immune system. It is a gentle yet very effective total mind-body workout that is accessible to all.
We will complete class with a Holy Fire® Reiki healing experience. After coming to a comfortable position, Jennifer will lead a short guided meditation. During a period of silence with relaxing music the Reiki healing energy will flow to each individual.
What to bring:
Any personal items such as a blanket and pillow, to be comfortable lying down or seated for the Reiki experience. It is also optional to have a journal and pen to write down your experience.Â
Please allow for space to move comfortably during Qigong. Class may also be done seated in a chair.
